The annual Komen Philadelphia Affiliate/American Cancer Society Latinas United for the Cure outreach event will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at the Marriott Philadelphia Downtown. Titled “Empowering Generations,” the Komen Philadelphia Affiliate is excited to once again offer this free event to women of the Latina community, and encourages everyone to spread the word to their friends and neighbors.

Jewish Women Living with Breast Cancer, "Lights in the Darkness: Celebrating Our Strengths"
“Lights in the Darkness: Celebrating Our Strengths,” is a free event by Jewish Women Living with Breast Cancer. The evening includes Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, as well as a performance by Theatre Ariel. There is no charge for this event and there will be no solicitation for funds. The work of Jewish Women Living with Breast Cancer is supported by The Philadelphia Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Free valet parking is available.
