ROW, ROW, ROW... FOR HOPE!

Sponsored by the rowing community of Philadelphia and its suburbs, Row for the Cure offers rowing enthusiasts as well as fans, family and anyone looking to spend a few exhilarating hours embraced by the scenic beauty of Philadelphia's Boathouse Row resplendent in the colors of autumn. Plus, at the same time, you'll be supporting the cause near to your heart - with proceeds from entry fees and other fundraising benefitting the Philadelphia Affiliate of Susan G. Komen.

Highlights on the water include: ceremonial parade of boats rowed by breast cancer survivors, and competitive rowing by athletes from teenagers to adults including scull/sweep rowing, dragon boats, kayaks and canoes. On land, the fun will continue with great food, merchandise, breast health education and a special "remembrance paddle" fundraiser and display along the banks of the river.

More information and registration is available at www.rowforthecurephiladelphia.com. Registration deadlines October 1.
