The Komen Philadelphia Affiliate's first-ever P.I.N. Stripes event was so well received by the young professional community, we're holding the second event in the series this September 10th in the stunning Pyramid Club.  From the absolute newest on the "green" scene to one of our nation's most time-honored professions, we've put together a panel of local career celebrities to empower the thinking of everyone in attendance.

If you're an ambitious, career-minded young professional looking for new ideas, inspiring stories or just a chance to network in a gorgeous setting, save the date for the next Komen Philadelphia Affiliate "Philanthropy. Insights. Networking" (P.I.N. Stripes) event on Wednesday, September 10 at 6:00 P.M.

Graciously hosted by the Pyramid Club of Philadelphia, the evening begins with cocktails and hors d'ouevres overlooking the breathtaking view of the skyline afforded by this distinctive club.  After networking and relaxing, guests will be given a one-of-a-kind look into the ingenuity, drive and ideas that propelled six of the Delaware Valley's most respected career individuals to greatness.  The September P.I.N. Stripe panel will consist of the following - moderated by Bob Kelly of CBS 3 Eyewitness News:

  • The Honorable Lynne Abraham, District Attorney, City of Philadelphia
  • Barbara Orr, Executive Vice President & Co-owner, Poretta & Orr, Inc., Strategic Marketing, Events & Exhibits
  • Steven N. Haas, Member, Cozen O'Connor
  • Craig Rankin, Owner, C.P. Rankin, Inc., Roof Management & Contracting
  • Sandy Wiggins, Chairman, e3 Bank, the region's first green bank (in organization) & Immediate Past Chair, U.S. Green Building Council
