Dear Philadelphia Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure,

I had a wonderful time at the Walk today, we were blessed with such beautiful weather, and I met so many inspirational participants. After I finished the 1 mile, I stood at the finish line for the 5K, and cheered everyone as they approached the end of the race.

Many people took pictures; and some little ones had a "Living History Lesson!" I am proud to be a part of such a well planned event, and charitable cause that is a Philadelphia tradition.

As Betsy Ross, one of our "Founding Mothers" united for the Revolutionary cause, I believe we support our Breast Cancer survivors with the courage, and strength that made America what it is today.

I look forward to being there again next year, and every year, until we find the cure.
